Join Hansen Donius, farm manager and herdsman at Rock Cobble Cattle in South Kent, CT, and Dr. Erin Masur, livestock veterinarian from Bantam, CT for a day dedicated to doing the best for your cattle. Hansen will speak on optimizing your pastures for optimal beef health, selecting the right bull for your herd, decisions on herd building, and building a management plan that works towards your goals. Dr. Masur will speak on calf management, improving your on-farm procedures such as castration and dehorning, and building a vaccine program that answers to your needs.
