Nutrient Management Planning for Livestock Farms

Friday, January 31st from 10 AM–12 PM at the Ag Hall

Manure can be a great asset on any farm, elevating soil health for sustainable abundant harvests.  It can also be an environmental liability, posing risks to water, soil, and air quality.  Join Graham Mallory from Northern Tilth LLC to learn about how livestock farmers can evaluate their manure production and make wise decisions in how they retain and land-apply those valuable nutrients.  We'll take one diversified livestock farm from Edgartown as our example, and talk about all things manure!

COST: FREE and open to all, no pre-registration required.
