Sheep-Shearing Shindig

Saturday, February 8th from 10 AM–12 PM at the Ag Hall animal barn

Siri Swanson of Yankee Rock Farm in Vermont will be visiting the island again to shear Slough Farm's Tunis flock! Come by to learn all about shearing and wool processing. Amy from the Southeast New England Fibershed will also be in attendance to answer questions about local fiber and dye farmers, uses for wool and waste wool, and ways to get involved in your local fibershed. Warm cider provided. All ages are welcome.
