Shotgun season is upon us! If you are hunting on the island this season, learn to break down and butcher your own deer at the Farm Institute with Charlie Granquist of Slough Farm. The class will demonstrate cutting, deboning, trimming, and packaging your deer.
This event is co-hosted by the Farm Institute, Slough Farm, and the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society, host of the Island Deer Cooler. Learn more about the Island Deer Cooler here.
