Join shepherd, shearer, butcher and fiber enthusiast Siri Swanson of Yankee Rock Farm for a hands on workshop and discussion about all the wonders of wool.

Topics include: nature & properties of different types of wool, raising sheep with an emphasis on wool production, skirting and preparing wool for shipping and options for processing. Also the question of whether wool business is worth your while will be discussed.
