Friday, December 12th from 5–6:30 PM at Morning Glory Farm

Learn to grow mushrooms on outdoor logs and indoors on straw with Meg Athearn of Morning Glory Farm! This class will focus on shiitake and oyster mushroom cultivation. This is a hands-on workshop and participants will innoculate their own logs, leaving with with the knowledge to innoculate additional logs on their own! We’ll also have warm shiitake broth and a fire pit to keep warm.

Each workshop participant will come away with their own shiitake log to harvest and a pint container that will produce oyster mushrooms. Additional logs are $30 each and additional oyster mushroom containers are $5 each. All workshop fees go to Morning Glory Farm. Ages 10 and up.
