In this talk, Scott will share wisdom from his decades of building community through agriculture on Long Island—including starting the first CSA in New York state!

Scott Chaskey spent three decades farming on a 35-acre vegetable farm on Quail Hill Farm at Peconic Land Trust in Amagansett, New York. Quail Hill Farm serves 250 members in its CSA, in addition to selling wholesale and at farmers markets. Scott also served his community as the former president of Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York (NOFA-NY).
