Chicken Processing Training

Saturday, May 16th from 8:30 AM–3:30 PM at the Ag Hall (35 Panhandle Road, WT)

If you are interested in finding occasional work this summer processing chickens or in using the Mobile Poultry Processing Unit to process your own chickens, please come to this hands-on training! We will cover the process and essential safety regulations for chicken processing. This is training for a potential job opportunity: the Mobile Poultry Processing Unit is available to island chicken farmers and these farmers will need to hire skilled labor for the growing season. Portuguese translation will be available at the training.

COST: FREE, lunch included. Register by May 8th below or by emailing Anna at operations@mvagsoc.org.
