Garden Tour with Roxanne Kapitan

Friday, July 25th from  4–5:15 PM

In this garden tour, Roxanne Kapitan will share how her studies of permaculture have shaped her personal garden. When she decided to not be a farmer anymore, she was faced with the important question of what to do with her own yard, full of shade and invasives. Studying permaculture taught her to embrace a systems approach where the problem is the solution. She transformed her yard into “rooms,” each with its own unique purpose but interconnected with the other areas. Roxanne says, "My yard is my home."
