Monday, June 2nd from 6–8 PM at the Ag Hall
In this workshop, Jason Mazar-Kelly (YogiJay) will help farmers restore balance in their bodies through the lense of fascia, connective tissue and a sensory organ that wraps everything in the body, including muscles, bones and organs. Through specific actions and movements, participants will unwind physical imbalances created by repetitive farm tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods, learning how we can consciously influence this structure to make us more adaptable and elastic long term. Everyone will leave with videos and handouts highlighting quick practices to improve flexibility and reduce injury during the growing season! No prior yoga experience is necessary—just a willingness to move and care for your body. This workshop is sponsored by MassGrown Wellness, a program of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
