Edible Garden Tour at Island Cohousing

Tuesday, July 14th from 3–4:15 PM

In this garden tour, learn from Cohousing's four core gardeners (Heather Majkowski, Cary Steinberg, Jessica Russell, and Randi Baird) about co-operating a large community garden!

In their words: "Our cohousing community garden is now 26 years old and continues to be a beautiful example of shared care and collaboration. The garden is approximately 90 x 70 feet and is supported by the wider community, with a few dedicated families helping to lead the effort each season. We grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and we also have an unheated tunnel for season extension, allowing us to start earlier in the spring and continue growing later into the fall. The garden provides space for growing food, learning from one another, and staying connected to the land and to each other."

COST: FREE for Ag Society members, $10 for non-members. Pre-registration required.
