This workshop will cover traditional perennial vegetables grown on the island, such as asparagus, blueberries (one of Roxanne’s specialties!), and rhubarb, in addition to less common perennials a farmer or backyard grower can grow successfully here in zone 7b, such as salad burnett, sorrel, myoga ginger, and sea kale.

Come refine your growing practices for perennials and learn about unique crops to add to your edible offerings! A plant list with sourcing information will be provided. This workshop is aimed at advanced gardeners and professional farmers.
