AGES 9–12: Crafts of Yesteryear 4-H Club at the MV Museum, led by Becky Nutton and Alia Munley

Meetings: Once a month on Sunday from 2:30 to 4 PM at the MV Museum (October 19th, November 23rd, December 14th, January 18th, February 15th, March 15th, April 12th, May 17th, and June 14th).

Description: As long as people have lived on our Island, people have been craftin here! The new Crafts of Yesteryear 4-H Club at the MV Museum will shed new light on old-fashioned crafting with a new topic every month. Crafts may include sewing, weaving, printmaking, dyeing, painting, ceramics, paper mache, beading, and soap-making.

Cost: All 4-H clubs will cost $40 for the year (September 2025 to August 2026). New members can pay by check or online during the official 4-H enrollment process later this month. This fee is waived for all families receiving SNAP/HIP benefits.

Enrollment: The enrollment process requires filling out a long set of forms sent via email. These forms MUST be completed before participating in any 4-H activities and then repeated annually every October on 4HOnline.

NOTE: To ensure that as many kids as possible have a chance to be a part of 4-H, at this time, each child may only join one 4-H club.
